Abnormal now gives admins greater control over message remediation by expanding self-service configuration options in the Portal.

Abnormal now gives admins greater control over message remediation by expanding self-service configuration options in the Portal, removing the need for support tickets for several commonly requested remediation settings.

With this release:

Expanded Self-Service Remediation Controls

  • Configure borderline remediation for Outlook tenants to Deletions (recoverableitemsdeletions)
  • Configure borderline remediation for Google Workspace tenants to Trash
  • Manage Google Workspace hidden folder remediation directly in the Portal

Greater Flexibility Across Google Workspace

  • Apply hidden folder remediation for attack, borderline, and spam messages
  • Adjust settings as part of normal admin workflows without support involvement

No Disruption to Existing Configurations

  • Current remediation settings remain unchanged
  • Admins can adopt new options when and where they make sense for their environment

This update reduces operational friction, speeds up configuration changes, and gives enterprises more control over how messages are remediated—while preserving flexibility and minimizing support dependencies for our customers.
